Very crisp looking cuts, I cannot see anyplace where it looks out of balance or a miscut! You did good! Is there going to be a finish on it?

A real nice repetition of six with grace, balance and a smooth flowing line in the cuts. Broad smiles all around I’m sure.

You spelled “Thompson” wrong… J/J… That is absolutely fabulous. I want to do some chip carving for a checkers set… I know who to contact now if you’re able to “dumb it down” for somebody. Great work.

Just looked at your other projects.. AMAZING!! Are you sure you don’t have a high end CNC machine?

Hello Irwin,
Is there going to be a finish on it? It has what I call my “quick and easy finish” applied. One coat of sanding sealer and three spray coats of satin lacquer. Pretty slick, eh!

Thanks all for your positive and encouraging comments. Your words help me make the next chip!
You spelled “Thompson” wrong… J/J…

I almost had a misspelling on a carving once. I had already carved the first few letters when my wife looked over my shoulder and said, “You’ve misspelled her name.” Phew! I was able to make the change and save the carving. That was one time I sure paid attention to what my wife had to say :-).
