I made this project by accident, it started with an end-grain cutting board made from walnut and oak (I will be posting this soon) I made the oak boards longer than the walnut by about 3 inches, i made the cutting board and at the end I had these scraps left over they were already glued up and ready to go. So i sanded them and gave 2 spray coats of lacquer with light sanding in between.

It’s called utilizing everything! Creative use for scrap except it’s no longer scrap.
