This a simple iPad stand i made for my dad from some scrap wood of my end-grain cutting board. All i did was cut the oak and mahogany into equal strips and glue them together in a pattern. Then i cut an angle into it on one side and a steeper angle on the other side and then remover the excess to give room for the iPad and then cut a recess so you can touch the home screen button. And finished it with some spray laquer and beeswax.
