As always I call it Wonder wood because we are still wondering what it is. A gfadvm style valet. Bottom is red cedar, sides and drawer are Ash. I actually put epoxy on the top. Probably won’t do this on a small project again. Too messy. Especially with this wood.

monte, i dont know what it is either…maybe you should name it, as soon as you do, someone will come along and say that aint pittman wood….its…......and then you will know…ask karson, he knows a lot of woods…

Monte, Is that some of that SD Balsa we talked about? I just learned that acetone is what you clean up epoxy with. That was a revelation. I thought you just had to wear it for a few weeks!
