I was framing a Norman Rockwell print with Birch and decided to give the splined corners a try. I built a simple jig from a design here on LJs. And after that I decided that I might as well try some inlays as well. I think they both turned out alright for my first attempt. Oh, the corners and inlay are purple heart.

Beautiful frame and very nice and tight inlays and splines. I just did my first splines too.

Great job. It looks really good!
