This is my Ross Murphy Wall bed. It was completed on 4-3-2008. It is built from maple with a Provincial stain from Minwax. It is a new version of the Ross. The old one has the leg blocks in the center of the door. On the new version the legs are moved to the outside edge. This gives it more clean look. It has two nonworking raised panel doors and two drawer fronts.
Here is the link to a Sideways Ross that I posted.
Some additional building pictures
Doors for the Murphy bed that will be attached later.
The crown and base molding . The unit under it doesn’t go with them. I make the crown so that it just slips over the header once it is assembled.
The bookcase for the Murphy bed.
