Recycled shipping pallets

The wood was from a shipping pallet branded made in the USA, most probably carried icecream pops over in the ships refrig. Can anyone identify what the wood is? The wood plugs are redgum and osage orange.

I’ve found all sorts of different woods in pallets. The problem with trying to identify what type of wood it is, is pallets are usually made with a lower grade lumber. They usually don’t look at all like they do in reference pictures.

But you can still get usable pieces.

Shanem we get a lot of hardwood pallets from the USA, I know some are Oak but a lot of lower grade stuff also.
You got it Jim, top and bottom 8 segment each.
