Floating Top Walnut Table

I built this table as a wedding gift. It was built from a plan I purchased on the internet.

It is all Walnut and finished with satin varnish. The top is attached with four figure 8 fasteners, but all the rest is mortise and tenon joinery. There was a knot on the top that fell out. Instead of trying to match the color of the walnut, I filled it with a plug and black (dyed) epoxy. I think it came out looking pretty good.

I really like that table and I have to say the wood is beautiful and what knot hole I don’t see it. Also where did you get the plans?

Very nice design. The walnut grain is wonderful.
