LL Bean has a selection of pine mudroom/entryway type benches.

My wife likes them and they cost up to $300 each.

Of course I told her I could make a pine bench that was just as nice for less $$$.

Here is the end result. Total cost @ 60 dollars in pine, hardware and finish. My first time using milk paint.

The front pulls down for more storage than the tiny drawers on the original.

She is happy so I am happy :)

Todd,

Great looking build; I can picture those LL Bean decor mag’s and this does look like it would fit right in.

Nice Job!

I’m sure this one is a whole lot better than anything LL Bean has got.

Nicely done sir…and the knowledge that you made it…priceless.

Very nice , but how come no “wear marks” around the handles ? What are you , a rookie or something ? And what’s up with this one picture nonsense ? LOL
Keep up the nice work : )

That’s a fine looking bench. Better yet made in Texas haha
