Since making my range box, which probably weighs 30 lbs empty, I decided I needed a cart to make the travel between the car and firing line more manageable. Going through the garage I stumbled upon (literally) one of our old jogging strollers that we got for free and was so old probably no one else was going to even pay that price.
So I disassembled it to get the rear axle bar (1/4” thick aluminum) with the two bicycle wheels. Took some scrap plywood and made up my little cart. Complete with rope handle. It fits quite nicely into its little garage between the corner aquarium and the office desk.
The base is two sheets of 3/8” exterior sheathing glued together, the sides and back are made from 3/4” birch plywood scrap and the leg is made up of a scrap of 2”x3”x5” mahogany. Couple of 1/4” lag bolts hold the plywood base to the aluminum axle.
Have gun cart, will travel.
