This box is one heavy card box. It is made from a walnut log my father-in-law put aside many years ago. Nice wood that has been included in many projects. The box holds several decks of cards and standard Las Vegas chips. The top is a pecan panel set in the walnut frame. Lots of brass.

Once the box is open, the tray of chips may be removed and taken to the table.

I have made a few poker boxes, but, by far, yours is the nicest. Where did you get the latch? I could use something like that for the tool chest I will be building.

Brass stuff from Woodcraft or Rockler, but other sources abound.
