This game table ended up in my other son’s house, in the game room as a computer table. All PA cherry straight from the sawmill in rough cut form, hand planed all throughout, H. Behlen cherry dye for instant age, shellac & wax. The wax shows up white in the last photo in the crevices, needed to rub out some more.
Thanks for looking,

An old toothbrush will help to get the wax out of the nooks and crannies : )
Not sure what I’m seeing ….How many boards make up the top ?

Top has 4 boards, hard to find wide cherry. Thanks I for the tip on the toothbrush. Guess I’ll use the wife’s, hate the taste of wax.

Hahaha…poor wifey !
You did a great job on the grain match…I couldn’t decide if I was seeing two or four boards there.
Son must be happy ! Keep up the good work : )

That’s a beautiful table and I love the wood. Now all you have to do is make four chairs for it and you’ll be done.

Fantastic. Cherry has got to be one of the warmest, soothing woods. Very nice!
