My wife wanted a gift for her friends wedding shower that was not store bought so this is what we did. The name blocks are 2×4 cut into 2 sizes sanded and painted. Then she applied scrap book paper and I cut vinyl letters and put them on that. The box is as simple wood constructed back hinged with matching paint and ribbon. Overall easy gift and got a great response.

It’s a very colorful gift and quite thoughtful.
