This is the result of finding a knot which to me resembled a heart. I simply had to incorporate it into a jewelry box for my lovely wife.

Very pretty. and your right, it does resemble a heart. You have enough miters there to make you go cross-eyed trying to glue it up.;)Nice Box.

Nice job on this one. You have a lot of time invested in this and I don’t think it just ‘fell’ together. I too am a big fan of knots and other ‘character’ features. You showcased the knot very nicely.

Thanks for the comments. I think i ordered the lock and escutcheon from Lee Valley. It certainly was a fun little project. Sometimes its nice to be able to start and finish a project in a short amount of time.
