I made this multi-tool pen for my wife as a birthday gift. I used olive wood for the blanks. This is also my very first pen turning. I gotta say I am totally hooked now. I also have 5 or 6 orders for more pens. Selling them for $20.00.

Nice turning Rick. I really like the finish and the detail. Looks like you and your lathe are getting along wonderfully.

Very Cool, Nice details.
Pen turning is easily addictive. I have been grounded since I had foot surgery on one of my feet and I haven’t been able to get back in front of the lathe. But I got some new tools I cant wait to try!! Welcome to sleepless nights of thinking of all the different ways to turn a pen.

Very nice job on that pen,Rick. I’ll bet she like that one!!
There are some for sale at the art fair today. I’ll check on the prices when I get there and give you a call.
I know Lis sells the bolt action ones for $35 but the guts cost about $12.
