This is a great project to build for someone as a gift. The vase can be turned to whatever shape/ design you want, all you have to do is hollow out a section for the flowers to sit in. I built this one from a very special piece of spalted beech. That is a good idea and would make some nice little gifts. I’ve got a bunch of walnut cut-offs from my current project that could be used for the flowers. I’ve just added another project to my favourites. Thanks.
