Last week my neighbor asked me if I would make a large cutting board for his wife. So today I met with her on the size and made it for her. I brought it to her tonight and asked if I should just take it to my shows and sell it and she said no way its mine. I was happy she was happy with the baord. It is 18 1/2 “x 12 1/2” and is the biggest baord I have made so far. It is made with Purple Heart / Padauk / Maple and Walnut. Robert brought me the wood Friday before we left for our crappy show. Weather kicked our butts. I made out ok and Robert did ok but we both did not make enough to cover all our cost. Tahoe is not cheap to stay at. Just have to roll with the flow I guess.
Well thanks for all the support Dennis

Haven’t tried cutting boards yet. It’s probably coming.

Really nice looking. Sometimes bigger is good.

Interesting pattern Dennis. Good use of the wood. Glad you could use it. I took the evening off from the shop.

-- Robert, so much inspiration here, and so little time!

Nice board. Very interesting woods and I like the way you combined them and the size of the board too.

Dennis; You designed a wonderful CB. The colors blend well together.
