My mother bought this antique chifferobe to go in my bedroom when I was born, it has been used since in my mother’s house but it has started to fall apart beyond the point where I wanted to repair it. We were about to throw it out and I was going to use some of the wood to make a box or something when this idea popped into my head.

I just took it apart carefully and saved the face frame. Then I fixed the doors on the front and the drawer fronts where they needed to go. Now it can be leaned against the wall or hung on the wall for a decoration or something.

It was pretty simple really and gives a neat effect!

What a neat idea to save a piece of your personal history!

I think that’s a kool idea, and a nice save for a nice piece
