Well our first baby is on the way and due any day now! I just wanted to do something special for my child so I came up with this, I hope she enjoys it.

-- If she asks to help, give her a piece of scrap and a sanding block:)

Looks nice! One suggestion. The spaces between the side panels look a little tight. My daughter is going to be 1 next week and loves to stick her hands through anything. I would install a crib bumper pad if you didn’t plan on doing so anyway.

Thank you everyone! And Joe it does look that way in the pics but the spaces are actually the same as the front and back.

I built this crib for my daughter and she thinks the openings on the end (mentioned by lumberjoe) are viewing windows to see us rocking her brother next to her crib. Great job nardir!
