I made this banjo clock for my second daughter’s college graduation. It is patterned after Simon Willard clocks dated around 1810. My daughter collected cherubs so I took come liberties with the design. In place of the normal eagle finial I used a cherub finial I got from a clock supplier. I also had a local artist Juanita Niemeyer reverse paint cherubs on the glass. I used recycled mahogany came from an old bookcase. The movement was made by David Lindlow of Lake Ariely, PA. If anyone would like to build on of these email me at bigbobclark@sbcglobal.net and I can put you in touch with all the suppliers as well as the guy I bought the plans from.

Hi Bob,
The clock is simply beautiful and the artwork add a stunning detail to the piece.
Thanks for the post.
