From a plan in WOOD magazine. Works pretty well. I’ve seen others post this project around here and most seem satisfied. It took quite a lot of dialling in with the counterweight but once set up it gets impressive range. I used scrap maple, unfinished.

Sweet job on that Trebuchet. You could take it to the Punkin Chunkin contest in the fall—use little pumpkins!!

Are those AA batteries getting ready to be fired off? Better watch out they dont hit the TV (or any of Momma’s china!)

Yes, AA batteries. It was a gift to my brother, given at our parents house. So anything broken gets blamed on him. Just like when we were kids…
