Here are some picture frames, that I made for my Mom, with all her grand-kids, for mothers day.The third frame is suppose to be based on a barn window. My first experience using barn wood, which was fun but challenging as I tried to keep all the fresh sawn pieces hidden as much as possible.

I love these. The people in my area who sell barn wood seem to think it is gold…..............

TVT,
These are really nice.
You did a good job hiding the newly cut parts. I work a lot with barn wood so I know how difficult that can be. I have also found that the fresh sawn edges make a nice accent on some pieces.

I really like barn wood, I have some laying around in the shop. I couldn’t figure out what to do with it because it is not enough to make a table or some type of furniture, but you gave me an idea. Thanks for sharing!
