About a year ago, I went to my uncle and noticed 6 speakers (2 tweeters, 2 midranges and 2 subs) on his attic including the drawings to make your own speaker enclosure.
Well, 11 months later, they’re finished. The box itself is constructed out of 18mm MDF with biscuit joints.
I gave the speakers 6 coats of paint, 3 coats of primer, 3 coats of high gloss black and a coat of polishing compound.
The speaker damping is 10mm carpet and 23mm acoustic insulation. The speaker enclosures measure 700mm tall, 480mm deep and 420mm wide.

Here you can see some photos during construction.

They look great. Those are some massive speakers.
The finish looks real shinny. Thanks for sharing.

Sweet! If they sound anywhere near as good as they look they’ll be real winners!!
