This was somewhat of an experiment that I’ve been meaning to try for a while now. I know the usual approach to built-in bench dogs is to simply use through-holes for the dogs and just tap them up from beneath. But here I tried an alternative approach using a cabinet touch-latch mechanism. These are nice because they switch between a shortened and elongated state with each alternate push. The video shows them in action. Let me know what you think!
