I have come to really like the combination of Wenge and Sepele. I vaneered the rift grain side of the legs to give all four sides the same look. Thanks for looking…...................;-J

Beautiful table. I have a handful of the sapele on hand. Thought about getting some wenge too. Now I know for sure it would look great with the wenge as you have shown in this very nice table. Love a good natural contrast.

What did you finish it with? The only time I used Wenge it darkened a lot, but there was boiled linseed oil in the mix.

B, it is a Generl Finishes water based and was sprayed. You are right as it will darken dramatically with the oil finishes. I’m going to post another small table soon on which I used oil an believe it or not it is from the same Wenge board…...;-J

looks great. This is similar to something I have been thinking about for an entryway table. Seeing great stuff like this really makes me want to go out and make something.
