Not all chainsaw sculptures have to be bears and eagles!!

adult and child’s flower chairs…these are something i have been wanting to do. I don’t know if i can charge enough for them to be worth it. I built the child’s on a commission who gave me free reign on a child’s chair…so, i took the opportunity to experiment! She loved it and wanted one of her own, but now is not able to purchase it; she hasn’t responded, actually, i just heard it was not a good time through the grapevine. Our whole family loves it; it is really cozy! It will be hard to part with. My daughter-in-law wants to make payments…i want to know if my stuff is marketable to people who don’t love me!! So, i told her let me try to take it to market, and if it doesn’t sell at the next event, it is hers.

They are both cedar and mulberry with crepe myrtle frames. The centers are walnut and cedar and mulberry and osage orange branches.

That’s so cool. My 5 year old daughter just said it would be great if it folded up for kids to sleep in but I like it a lot like that. LOL

Great Job

Christine… I would take one of your chainsaw sculptures over the stereotypical variety, of which you note, any day.

I love these chairs…. and don’t know if I love you…. but I do love these chairs…. as most of your work.

bravo! great ONE OF A KIND art work. I have found through the years that price is dictated by location. Example- I could sell one of my chairs in the area I live for probably no more then 800$ but in Jackson, wyoming they sell for 2400$. Location, location. Find the high end market. Your art is worth it.

Very nice design

Do you have a person to show scale?

Photo 5 really shows the work.
