This is a cross between my Locker Murphy bed and my Special Edition Baseball bed. Instead of just having it all painted up we used some natural maple in parts. We also had the headboard lettering carved out and then repainted the recesses.
The headboard was very time consuming. To try and save time we masked the headboard before the CNC router cut the lettering, but the mask adhesive was reactivated by the lacquer and left a residue. We had to scrape that and refinish the clear coat.
