Two Signs

I just finished a couple of signs that were ordered by some of the people in our RV park where we spend the winter. I drew them up and finished the boards and then my friend , Mike, at Awards Pro did the laser work for me. They both have an Arizona flavor. Cliff died at the park in Arizona in 2011.

They are both quarter sawn white oak, stained with 2 different stains and then finished with clear matte spray. They have a few more coats to go after all the letters were filled….........................Jim

I think I have to start making sure I’ve got the “Made in USA” notice on my stuff too. No reason not to. Thanks Jim.

Hey guys, thanks for the nice comments.
Mads, I made the flames one at a time free handing them form a picture I took in Arizona. I hope they like it.

Larry, you will greatly expand your woodworking projects when you get your laser. I have a duplicator and I can cut lettered signs, but with a laser, the sky is the limit for fonts and added artwork. It is so nice to personalize you work for the customer..it makes the project so much more special!!

I was so lucky to find Mike to do this work on his laser.

The signs look great. The laser engraving looks nice on a sign.

Really COOL signs…

“The Big House”... my first thought was a Prison… I don’t think so… LOL NICE!

... too bad about Cliff… he would’ve liked it…

Jim,
Great work on the signs! I am certain that the folks you made them for will appreciate all you work. I know a person that has Laser but he is 40+ miles away and that makes it difficult, but have used him on a couple of pens!

Thanks for sharing
