Hi Jocks and Jockettes,

Here is one set of speaker stands that I made. Latched on to a vintage pair of JBL L 40’s. Love that 70’s sound they produce along with my Kenwood KR 4600 receiver. It was recommended to me to get them up off the floor. Best advice I have got in years! They sound 100% better and I have found out what I have been missing for all those years. They are made from some oak plywood stained with Zar Modern Walnut. About 11” high with a 3 degree pitch on the top. They had to be sturdy because each speaker weighs 44lbs. Also, that is my record cabinet I made for mama a couple of months ago. Thanks for lookin’!

Cheers,

Jack

Cool speaker stands! My bro-in-law is so talented! Yup, that’s Miss Brenna.
I pitched Lonnie’s old woofers and tweeters last summer. They were just taking up space.

Thanks Sharon. You angle them so the tweeters are not hitting you in the knees. I also stuffed the columns with polyfill to deaden them some for the woofers. See that you’ve been turning those pens. Looks like fun.

Hey Bake,
Like that reloading bench and hutch of yours. My son needs something like that. He reloads .223 for his AR’s. Hiis girlfriend is sick of him using the kitchen table… priorities, priorities.
