Here is my order made in winter.I think a customer was looking forward for spring that`s why she decided to order this thing.The pin made of walnut inlaid with bronze,silver,mother of pearl,stone enamel.Each mother of pearl flower consists of five petals and it was quite difficult to put them together.But I took real pleasure in making this pin.
I found a traditional Japanese hair pin “kanzashi” as a prototype and as for openings in the teeth I haven`t any idea what practical meaning they have.I think it`s just for elegance.
The pin is 5,4” length.
