My wife got these two Ladder Back chairs quite a few years ago. And as you can see by the before picture, they have become just awful. So, with the little bit of spare time I have I decided to strip, repaint, repair and recain the chairs. I haven’t done any type of caining since my younger years as a boy in the Summer’s Arts and Crafts sessions I was so excited attending each year. The caining job on the seat is not perfect, but with the next chair, it will come out better I’m sure. It does take practice doing this type of craft. Heck, if I get any good at it, may have to put an ad in the local news that a cain repairer is in the area. Naturally, for a minimal fee. It’s not easy and does take time. So, with the all the babbling I’ve done, I hope you’ve enjoyed my work. Have a Great Navy Day!
Kris

Good first job, Kris. Is there a new career in the making?

Fine job of reclaiming that chair. Well done!
