Here is a linen cabinet I made out of pine, used 1/4” baltic birch plywood on the back to square the cabinet and add strength. the solid panel doors were fun to make. I also made the shelves adjustable to allow for different uses. I used my hand planes for most of the smoothing work on the cabinet. The finish is three coats of BLO and three coats of shellac rubbed with #0000 steel wool for a nice satin finish (second picture is before any finish was applied). Thanks for looking.

Nice job, someone is really going to like that. Doors have a great proportion with the case.

It’s very clean and neat and done very nicely. Congratulations on a fine job.

Nice job. I don’t see many projects in pine. This just goes to show that pine can still make beautiful furniture. Nice zen quality to it.

Well done. The finish came out great.
