Aquarium and stand

Clearing out some simple projects I had been meaning to post for a while.

I made this aquarium and stand for my wife. The stand if fairly simple, the only interesting feature is the way the sides are joined to the back, but you can’t see it anyway. Red oak, about 8 coats of poly. The aquarium itself is made of marble and glass. In the end I liked the simplicity of it all, I had planed on putting in a shelf and a door, but liked it this way better.

I like it. Nice going!! Thanks for sharing. Without the shelf you could put a taller object in it!!.............Jim
