My eleven year old son made this over the weekend for his school project. The Washington Monument is made of balsa wood with 45 degree angles for both the top and the sides. He asked if I would publish it for him.

Very nicely done! An obelisk is not an easy shape – he deserves to be proud!

Well, it looks like he nailed it. It’s a dead ringer for the Washington Monument. Tell your son I said congratulations.

Hmmmm…do I smell an A+ ???? :-) Very nicely done!
I’m currently helping my 9 year old son on his project on Walt Disney, which is due Friday….and there is still SO much to be done on it…yikes!! The teachers don’t let up on the regular homework during project time either….so he worked his butt off last night doing a weeks worth in one night so we have the rest of the week to work on the report :-)
