Joined Lumberjocks some time ago, but only just now got into the shop to build something. I thought I’d try out a cutting board or two to make the better half happy. This one is cherry, walnut and maple

I am sure it has made her happy. I like the strong contrasts in the colors – a very nice looking piece. How big is it overall?

Very nice CB. I have made a few CB’s for friends and relatives, but I have never made one for my wife. I don’t think she cares becuase she doesn’t cook.

I find it only appropriate to make my 10,000 comment on here on a cutting board.
I found this site from the Woodwhisper’s web page and watching his videos on making end grain cutting boards.
You board looks real nice, now it is time to do an end grain one they will last for ever and never fray. I have made over 250 boards and people are still wanting them. There are all kinds of great board makers on here to help you grow.
Nice work and look fwd to seeing more.
