Crack Box:
wormy chestnut
Black walnut
paduk
red oak
Approx: 14” tall x 6” x 6”
turquoise inlay
rare earth magnets in the drawers
brown flocking in the drawers
Wave Box:
birds eye maple
poplar
black walnut
approx: 9” long x 6” x 6”
no magnets or flocking or inlay
Vase Box:
curly maple
turquoise inlay
Handles I got at Hobby Lobby and polised them
and added some turquoise to them.
rare earth magnets in the drawers no flocking yet
(cant decide which color to use)

I like all of these boxes, thanks for sharing some more inspiration.
As far as the felt, I can see the purpose of it in jewelery circumstances but what a shame to hide all of that beautiful wood!

Outstanding results. I love that “crack” box, well actually, all 3 boxes. I love the fact that a BS box can be any shape or size. An “outside the box” box. You have done well my friend.

Oh, I had a friend make the cracked box design and I absolutely loved it. You took it up a notch with the laminated wood. All three are lovely, but that wave box is calling to me to reach out and touch it.

Still doing that downhill riding? I have raced a couple times this year I made my mains
but the knees are not what they used to be. hahahahaha!

Nice Work – Starting my own venture in the “non-rectangular” world…. I planning to make some nightstands in the same format as the cracked cabinet and other cartoon furniture I have seen around…
