MSgt stripes shadow box w/raised walnut stripes

Sorry for the poor pics but at any rate this is a LED lit shadow box made of Oak ply with raised stripes made in walnut.

I cut the stripes out with my carvewright (I could have used a bandsaw, but it’s just as easy (and easier to layout) to cut out the pieces on the CW—also, the grain lines up perfectly straight this way without any fuss)

The inside box is foam covered with blue velvet and it is all toplit by a strand of high-quality (I love these) LED lights. These leds were pricey (flexfire leds) but are VERY bright.

The finish is rude and crude and the piece is hung with an aluminum “hangman” French cleat.

This is an awesome piece!!! I am about to retire and I really would like this project for myself. Do you build and ship or do you seel your plans? Please get back to me….I retire Sept 4th.
