I just received an order for a wine stopper rack for wine stoppers with cork bottoms instead of the large metal ones that I make. It had to have smaller holes and smaller spacing between rings. This is the third one I made so I thought I should convert my paper template to a wooden one that can be use over more easily. I used the face plate to turn the recess in the bottom ring for the lazy Susan and to turn all the top rings at one setting. I made a pattern for the screws that matched the holes for the posts so I could secure all the rings at once.
It is made from red oak and finished with Zar 120 stain and clear matte spray finish-6 coats.

Beautiful Jim.
It could also be a wonderful idea for a watercolor brush holder.
You are a master on that lathe.
Best thoughts my friend – hope you are all well,
