Here is a wall shelf that I build for my in-laws to hold the canister set that they received for Christmas. My wife was kind enough to volunteer me for the job. I designed it to match the microwave cart that I had previously built for them. It is built with Maple and Oak along with some wainscoting paneling. Based on their praise of the shelf, I have decided to hire them for my marketing group :-)

Did you do the sign above, or just design to match it? Nice use of all the different elements.

Nice work, Brandon. That shelf will hold quite a weight. How have you hung it to the wall?

I used screws with decorative washers and some nice metal drywall anchors. It will hold a decent amount of weight.

Very graceful, nice looking canister shelf. Did you carve the accent as well?

Thank you all for the nice comments. It is nice to get some affirmation on the quality done.
As far as the accent goes, I am not that tallented or adventurous. I purchased it, but I will give credit to wife as she picked it out.
