This is what I came up with for some extra storage for the table saw area. The drawers are 26 inches wide and 16 inches deep and vary from 3 inches to 4 1/2 inches deep. The drawer fronts are made of left over Walnut base. I used the 100 lb slides since there would be some weight in some of the drawers. The case is made of 3/4 birch plywood with some hard maple trim on the front and rear to keep it stationary on the table.
The top drawer I use for some of my measuring tools and had some foam mat since I did not want anything to be sliding around as I opened and closed the drawer. I left room on top for a extra fence I had and some rulers and large t square. Side room of course for a miter guage and I did not have to bust my knuckles when I moved the tilt adjustment. One of these days I will probably paint the case or just leave it alone. It is real handy keeping tools organized. Of course Oscar decided to do his stretching routine…....

Great use of wasted space. I love these ideas.
You have a good taste in dogs and T-Squares. Looks like a young GS and a Pinnacle T-square.
Two things that are always about in my shop….
