This end table is constructed from 4 biscuit joined 1-1/8 inch black walnut boards mounted on a top plate, and fastened to a single piece juniper tri-pod base. There is a small turquoise inlay in the center board, and natural edge along the front board. A fun little project I put together with some walnut boards that were gifted to me. (Special thanks to Bill and Dee in Colorado!)

Very nice. Like the way it finished off and the inlays too.

When most people hear black walnut, they expect to see all dark wood, you have taken the sap wood and
made a very interesting table. That juniper root really sets it off, thank you for sharing.

Thank you all. Generous comments!
This project was the first time I used Black Walnut. I really like this wood! I would love to trade some alligator juniper for some more of it.

Very nice end table.End tables are an essential part of any well appointed home. Not only do they serve a vital function, serving as bookends to a furniture grouping, but they also allow table lamps to be strategically paced around the room.
