This was my first guitar stand. It’s a two piece manzanita frame, mounted on a juniper base. This one was hand sanded and finished in teak oil only, No urethanes or gloss coats. For good reason too, the guitar it was designed for also had a beautiful flat natural finish. Like all the manzanita stands I’ve designed its very stable, cradles the guitar securely, but clearly a home or music studio decor piece, not designed to fold up and stow away.

that is a beauty!
and that guitar is a perfect match – Is that an Ibanez or a custom shop made guitar?

It takes quite an artist’s eye to see that guitar stand in the raw materials.
