This is a piece my dad wanted to remind him of toys of his boyhood. He wants to hang it up so no landing gear.

Where did you happen to get the scale dimensions? My Dad was part of a B-24J Liberator crew in WWII and I am interested in developing a similar scale model of his plane. Thanks in advance for any consideration you can give this matter.

Prgd I will be honest I have a book called the Complete book of World War II combat aircraft.

I used the page for the B-25 but it was the same, I measured and if you look at some of the pictures on one of the blogs I put the parts on the page to compare and as a reference during sanding.

Good job on the plane. You are a much better painter than i am. I tried painting windows etc but they did not turn out as good as yours.

Arnies I cheated and used a paint pen, I am not a good painter but I can sketch and draw so I cheated and used the pens.
