Well seeing how I live very close to the Adirondack Mountains, I thought that I would build Adirondack Chairs. The first chair that I built is made of Fir Flooring reclaimed from my attic (Long story there). anyway I had this wood so I decide to build one. I’m very glad I did. I epoxied the leg end grain and polied the whole chair with five coats. I then wet sanded the arm rests and buffed them to a very smooth surface. There’s the mechanic coming out in me.. The other chair in the pictures is one I built for a client. It recline so she can sun herself without changing chairs. It’s made of pine and the recline part is my design.

This is a nice project. These are timeless it seems and very popular.
You did a nice job with this one. I can see myself relaxing with the back reclined while my wife is mowing the grass. (It is nice to dream but trust me it isn’t going to happen). :)
thanks for the post.
