A frame I recently made for my wife.The plan is from woodsmith,but I changed it to better fit a diploma.
Dimensions are 16”w x 13 7/8” tall
Woods are PNW Bigleaf quilted maple and Black Walnut.
Finish on the maple is bright yellow and dark red mahogany dye, 5 coats garnet shellac,and 4 coats orange.Dark walnut danish oil on the walnut followed by 3 coats garnet and 4 coats orange shellac.

how did you cut the miters? They are very crisp. Very nicely done.

Don I cut them on my Bosch scms.I usually cut close to the line then “slice” to it.Thanks alot.
