A frame I recently made for my wife. The plan is from woodsmith, but I changed it to better fit a diploma.

Dimensions are 16”w x 13 7/8” tall

Woods are PNW Bigleaf quilted maple and Black Walnut.

Finish on the maple is bright yellow and dark red mahogany dye, 5 coats garnet shellac, and 4 coats orange.Dark walnut danish oil on the walnut followed by 3 coats garnet and 4 coats orange shellac.

pics are from my phone ,apologize for the quality.
Questions comments welcome.

how did you cut the miters? They are very crisp. Very nicely done.
