I did this chair 3 years ago as part of my thanksgiving retrospect exhibit. I am presently busy working on new pieces for an exhibit in November celebrating my 30th year in designing and crafting “functional sculptures”. I wish I could share with you photos of my new works but it could preempt the unveiling in November. So frustrating!!! I look forward to The day when I can share my new works with my family here at Lumberjocks. Many thanks for the wonderful comments I get on works that I’ve posted. It inspired me to step into a different level in design and craftsmanship for my up coming show. Mabuhay!!

As usual, you made very attractive furniture – with shape, curves and contours different from what always seen in any home. Fantastic work Benji Reyes!
Thanks for sharing!

Benji you have no idea how often I tell people about your awesome talent. I know I’ve said this before, but you are such an inspiration to me. Not only are you exceptionally gifted, but you are exception person. You have a calming presence and I am honored to know you! Without question, your new pieces will be jaw dropping. I’ll wait with eager anticipation, but I’m already smiling.
By the way, love this chair. It’s energy reminds me of a kangaroo. Thanks for sharing.
Good luck with the show. All the best to you my friend!

Beautiful Work/Art!
I would rather just look at it, than sit in it.
Can’t wait to see new works!

Alas, Benji, I do not feel qualified to comment on this chair. It is so far beyond what I could ever dream of creating. All I can say is that it is breathtaking.

The design, execution, and finish on this chair is PERFECT. But we’ve come to expect this from you. And you have never disappointed us!
