This unit is made to mount directly onto the wall. It is to house the cable, DVD and other boxes. All cables go up to the back of the TV through the boxed panel at the back. This allows for all cables to be hidden. The timber is recycled Balayon. Construction utilizes dovetails. There are no screws or nails in this unit. Have used natural edged timber and highlighted areas of faults in the timber to enhance the rustic features. I even left a hole in the top at the front. Not my favorite style, but the customer loves it.
