Business card holders made from black walnut.
The uprights are held on with 1/4” mortise and tenon’s.
Finished with Deft spray lacquer.
These were inspired by http://lumberjocks.com/projects/55025
Deer antler pen with CA finish.
One of the guys I work with gave me a board of black walnut that was weathered and twisted. I cut it into smaller pieces so that I could work the kinks out of it. It had some nice color and grain but the pieces are fairly small. So I guess I’ll be making more small projects.

Very nice looking card holder and goes along beautifully with the leather top desk, I think.
