All of these are made from some pallets that were in the trash pickup pile at my office. The first one, obviously I guess, is a coffee table. The wood on top (unknown to me) was cool looking, so I left it unpainted. The next two pics are “Dog”—so named because my daughter asked what it was, I said it could be anything, she said, “OK, then, can it be a dog?” Yep, at least in name. It’s mocked up here as bar and then as a desk; it’s wall hung on 32” centers. (No, that’s not my liquor supply—mostly empty bottles I got from a bartender friend.) Next is a wall-hung wine rack (my favorite of all these) with no finish except poly over bleached wood, but I really like the way it turned out. The red, white, and blue thing is a hookboard (no idea if there is such a thing, but I couldn’t think of anything better to describe it). In any event, it hangs on the wall as well and holds a large amount of stuff.

Great for a bachelor pad. If I had my way, our whole house would have furniture like that.

Welcome to LJ’s, Good job of repurposing the old pallets, many of my projects are reclaimed lumber.

I must follow your pallet development. I wonder what the French word is for pallet.
