I decided to purchase a premade top from Rockler’s. I could have made another top like the one that was on there before. It was durable and lasted ten plus years. I made the plunge to purchase and have no regrets. This Rockler top and fence package was perfect out of the box.
The router table is somewhat an inspiration of Norm’s. Pull out bit storage drawers, extra storage behind closed doors, and a plexi front that has dust collection. The Rockler fence has dust collection as well. So I have both Norm’s inspiration and that of the fence for dual collection. The base has swing out feet. If I ever need to move it, simply flip up the base and castors are there to wheel it around.

Thanks for the comments. Yeah, the shop looks neat. I think I will frame a photo of the “clean” shop on my wall near the broom and dust pan. Maybe it will give me the incentive I need to continue to use them…lol

Fine looking router table as well as a nice shop. You should post the shop in the “shops” forum.
